Raindrops

Raindrop falling over me,

Dancing wind in the trees

Pecking a kiss on the cheek,

Takes way all that is bleak

The thunder is just like a roar,

The lightning enters the door

Striking every plan

When I go with any man

The cooling scent I seek,

We always play hide and seek

The moment I step out of home,

It follows me wherever I roam

It drives my moments of despair,

I cherish these times so rare

Come and play with me,

Raindrop falling over me!

It hides my little sunshine,

Whiling away with food and wine

In my little corner I lay,

Keep the troubles at bay

The feel of watery bliss,

The scent of earth I miss

Drawing closer to me,

Raindrops falling over me!
