Lady

Truly, sincerely, faithfully yours,

Always called by names and tagged by all.

A set of rules that should define

Even when it’s wrong, she must portray fine.

Victim or culprit, maker, or breaker,

There should be a reason to shake her

The more you suppress, the more you depress,

The very core of her nurturing soul.

Grace and poise, she upholds,

When the secret to beauty unfolds.

The strength and courage she ought to exude,

When power that controls, seems so crude.

Unending are her pains and woes

Yet she rises above her foes,

A creation that the Divine has pride,

My Lady, none but you are my guide!
