Lilies

Lilies down the valley

Lying amidst the meadows

Waving in the breeze

Swinging in the shadows

Petals that open up

Every morning how they bloom

Fragrant and bright they are

Drives away all gloom

The very happy sight

Of the fresher bunch

And the garden trails

Blossom spring prevails

Joyful they appear

Sadness disappears

Surrounding are the bouquets

Sheltered under the sun

Floral fest has begun

Heavens spread their warmth

Freshness dawns alive

In all its glory and splendor

Blissful might and wonder

Every flower that counts

Caresses the unbound

Lilies grow all around.
