To be Positive…

Today and everyday

Life can be uncertain

All I know there’s always some hope

To jump, dive or slide,

How long, broad, or wide,

Is the measure of my pea-sized life

What bothers me not

Is if we are tied up in knots

Jumbled in life’s jigsaw puzzle,

In life’s daily hustle and bustle,

In return I offer

All my gratitude and peace

The storm calms down

The trials come to cease!

Now is the time

To extend our help

Support the forefront runners

Be it sprint, marathon or race

It brings us together,

In mild or harsh weather

Released the helpless,

Comforted the restless

Now spreads the evil tentacles

Trying to gobble up the weak

Humanely snared

Violently teared

It withstands terror

Life that changed what’s ‘positive’

I refrain to be positive!
