Toxic
We live in a world
That
promises solace
No more comfort,
just a rat’s race.
Pressure to
deliver
Be it an
employee or a mother.
It chokes
us to death.
Are we living
a life?
Survival of
the fittest
Was Darwin’s
theory.
The Pyramid
is inverted
Of a Maslow’s
theory.
Engulfed what
we call is ‘Toxic’
Promotions
everywhere
Of mental
health & wellbeing
No concern,
no empathy
Just be a considerate
human being.
It’s all a
sham to offer a cure
Remember we
could prevent
From
happening even before
Too late to
apologize and make amends
When it’s
reached too far, now is the end.
You’re just
another resource that could be replaced,
How does it
matter, when revealed, it’s fake?
Still holding
onto what we call is ‘Toxic’
