Low Battery
Hours, then minutes, then seconds,
My phone is
beeping,
I’m
waiting, I’m sweating,
I need an
energizer
My cell
needs a charger,
There’s a
fear of missing out.
The notifications
and messages,
The calls
and comments,
My social media
pranks,
Beckons me to
keep on checking.
This is my
life, my way to communicate,
The world
is my best friend,
I love
seeing the likes and views,
There’s so much
happening on news.
Always beside
me, my travelling companion
With mind
and heart, in loving union.
It’s all in
the huge memory,
Throws up
those pictures in history.
I have a
last chance to peek into my phone.
Low Battery…
I feel the pulse I can’t live without you!
