Love…is not blind

If Love were blind, it would not have foresight

The cuddles so tight, the constant fight

Only if eyes could see, the heart could set free

The thoughts so rare, only one could care

Maybe this is more than Love, yes how could I ever know

Not sure how to say it, I could but never show

The mind is wavering for the truth, searching for the soul

You make me complete, young and whole

It knows best when the heart beats, the clock ticks

I cannot gauge how the connect, it just sort of clicks

Life is full of surprises, now who can tell

Can it be dream or is it like casting a spell?

I thought about it time and again

Was it peaceful pain or a profitable gain?

Less assured I fell head over heels again

Ever wondered would be a boon or bane?

Love has eyes to see the one we love

Yet it failed in its vision to rise above

It keeps coming back even though I walked away

Am I so fortunate to be loved that way?

Questions that baffled my mind

How did it sync deep inside?

Truly, this is an emotion immortal

Breaks too easily, much too brittle

Join the pieces, bridge the gap

Seems like have got a feather in my cap

I have a long way to go

Fear the answer would be a no

Hoping my eyes would not ditch me

Love by chance, just struck me

Where in the world would I ever find?

My Love was it true, it was not blind!
