My Dream for a Future India – A Developed Nation and Pollution Free
I remember Martin Luther’s famous speech of “I have a dream…” - was the hope to freedom
for America. Today, when I look back on how our nation India fought for freedom, it reminds me of a united India – a country who really wanted slavery, casteism to end. The question is: Are we really free today? And we think and debate on this every year on Independence Day. Surprisingly, we have fallen not risen to the freedom we fought for. There is nothing impossible, we have the best of resources, be it agriculture or
industries or even people for that matter, talented and prosperous. Indeed! We have no dearth of people. It’s ‘WE’ who can make it work. We have so many opportunities to prove that we can stand tall neck to neck with other nations.
Faith as little as a mustard seed, when sown right, it will grow and bear fruit. It will bring harvest and joy to our Mother Land, to make our country proud! Driving away all negative forces and winning against all odds, be it our national games or at the corporate level. It’s a developing nation and would see it as an advanced developed nation in the future. With a population having more youth in our country – the future and their passion, imagination and innovation is inspiring to us. We have now gone back to our age old methods of medicine Ayurveda, holistic treatments and nutrition, organic methods of growing our vegetation and
utilising minimum resources for industrialization, thus saving water, electricity and segregating garbage which is recyclable, biodegradable, environment-friendly and perishable.
Many people have united hands to work for better society, be it voluntarily directing the traffic, building more trees and wider roads. It’s a blessing we have diverse cultures with different ideas, ways and means to avoid noise pollution during festivals, helping the homes, society, vicinity and streets clean. Today, even educational institutions encourage a drive or initiative for children to keep the nation clean and tidy not only by sweeping the dirt, but also instilling to sweep away the evil thoughts and wrong doings through immense counselling efforts and involving them in various skilful activities to help their talent grow.
With this vision, truly we can see a new age India not just in terms of technology but people-ogy!
